What does Snapchat support code SS06 mean?
Short answerUsers widely report SS06 as a device-level block: Snapchat restricts access from that phone rather than from one account. Only Snapchat can tell you why your device was blocked. Contact Snapchat through its official support channels.
We don’t recommend apps or services that claim to remove device bans; they can put your accounts and data at risk and may break Snapchat’s terms. People who bought second-hand phones have also reported seeing this code, so mention that to Snapchat support if it applies.
If you want to keep filming in the meantime, any camera app works. Our founder built Music Wide Selfie after his own device was blocked in July 2026. Filming wide with music after losing Snapchat.
