Not every iPhone can do it; it depends on the hardware. Music Wide Selfie's Dual Camera only appears on phones that support it, and older supported phones may use a lower quality to stay reliable.

Can an iPhone record the front and back cameras at the same time?
Short answerYes. Apple added Dual Capture to the Camera app on iPhone 17 models. Apps can also record both cameras on many earlier iPhones whose hardware supports it, which Apple has allowed since iOS 13.
